South Thames Colleges Group gives students greater choices across south west London.

The South Thames Colleges Group is made up of Carshalton College, Kingston College, Merton College and South Thames College, which merged on 1 August 2017. South Thames Colleges Group is one of London’s largest providers of post-16 education and training and is an ongoing and significant contributor to its local communities. We aim to put students’ success at the heart of everything we do.

As a major provider of further, higher and adult education to over 10,000 students, our staff have quality at the heart of everything they do. We are looking for hard-working and collaborative people who can join our team and help challenge our students to progress and achieve.

Carshalton College offers high quality vocational education at all levels. Close to both Sutton and Croydon, the College is easily accessible from all areas of South London. Located in an attractive area with lots of green spaces, parks and the Carshalton ponds the College has been an education provider in Sutton for over 60 years.

Carshalton College is recognised for its strong local presence and its thriving vocational curriculum, especially in construction and creative industry courses.

Located in South West London, close to the River Thames, Kingston College provides students with a friendly and stimulating environment in which to gain qualifications. Some 3,500 full time and 6,000 part time students currently benefit from its professional approach to learning. Hardly surprising, therefore, is the rate of progression to higher education. Each year over 500 Kingston College students leave to become undergraduates at British Universities. In addition, over 1,600 students study at the College on Higher Education courses.

Kingston is an amazing location for students with its vibrant town centre and excellent transport links. The College offers courses in a friendly, stimulating environment for study. The Creative Industries Centre is a separate campus providing state of the art facilities for our creative arts students.

Adjacent to the beautiful grounds of Morden Park, Merton College is easily accessible by bus, train, tube or tram. The College boasts industry standard facilities including the renowned Taste Restaurant with state of the art professional kitchens for hospitality and catering students.

Merton College campus provides an attractive and welcoming environment for students. The campus has been transformed over the past few years with over £40m of investment in buildings and facilities.

Situated in the heart of Wandsworth with great transport links, South Thames College is just 9 minutes from Clapham Junction. With fantastic purpose built teaching facilities, study at South Thames College is exciting, fun and as close as possible to a real working environment. A second campus at Tooting offers a wide range of part time adult education courses.
