Fairfield Community Primary School are looking for a CLEANER to cover a maternity leave
To start 24th August 2026 for approx 8 months
£12.85 per hour (pro rated)
8.75 hours per week
Hours of work - Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 5.15pm during term time.
To work under the direction of the Site Manager, we are seeking a hardworking, dependable and self-motivated individual to clean our school each day. This person is important to the smooth running of our new school; ensuring the school site, equipment and grounds are safe and ready for a busy day.
The successful applicant will be someone who:
• Has a ‘can do’ attitude and enjoys independent working
• Understands the importance of high standards of Health and Safety
• Has a good sense of humour, is enthusiastic and flexible
• Is able to relate well to adults and children
Main duties for this role are to:
• Clean the school to a high standard
• Report any repairs or maintenance issues as required
• Restock soap, hand towels, toilet rolls etc
