Chef (Horizon Campus)

Salary: NJC scale 5, £31,524 - £33,912 (depending on experience).

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: September 2025

Location: Horizon Campus, West Lea School, Enfield

A unique opportunity to lead our training kitchen and mentor learners aged 16–25 with special educational needs in hospitality and catering. You’ll manage the kitchen, deliver food safety training, and support learners in real-world cooking experiences.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a chef or cook, ideally in an educational or SEN setting

Level 2 or 3 Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Passion for mentoring and empowering young people through food

Strong understanding of dietary needs, allergens, and food hygiene

Organised, creative, and confident in managing a professional kitchen

A team player with a positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to inclusion
