Estates Administrator Thank you for your interest in this post at WQE. We believe that this is a particularly exciting time to be joining us, offering a real opportunity to make a ...
As a Sixth Form College specialising in A-Level education for students aged 16-18, we offer the opportunity for students to fulfil their academic potential, develop as an increasingly independent individual whilst becoming part of a vibrant, supportive learning community. More than that, you and our students have the opportunity to shape the future; each generation contributes to the life and character of the College.
Excellent students and staff deserve excellent facilities. Teaching and learning at QE takes place in specialist accommodation, most of it recently purpose-built or comprehensively refurbished. IT resources, sports facilities and social and dining spaces are all of a high standard.
Venturing Beyond the Classroom Each year the College organises various educational trips and visits to complement classroom learning and add an extra dimension to College life. In recent years Geography students have undertaken field trips to Dorset and Morocco and Geology students have visited the Isle of Arran. Performing Arts and Business students have been to New York, English students have experienced theatre trips and Art & Design students have visited various museums and galleries both in Britain and abroad. Chemistry students have participated in the Royal Chemistry Olympiad and Physics students have taken part in the International Space Olympics in Russia.
