We’re looking for a part-time Business Support & Compliance Administrator, working 28 hours per week, all year round to support IT Services, Health and Safety, Compliance and Executive Support, helping to keep systems, processes and operations running smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality administrative support across a range of key College functions, working closely with the Senior Project and Executive Support Officer to coordinate planned activities and respond to changing priorities. You will support IT Services administration, including maintaining records, asset registers and documentation, assisting with procurement, supporting the IT helpdesk and coordinating supplier and contractor activity. You will also contribute to Health and Safety and compliance processes by maintaining accurate records, supporting audits and inspections, tracking actions and assisting with GDPR and data protection activities. This varied role is perfect for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working collaboratively, managing information accurately and making a valuable contribution to the smooth running of Yeovil College.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience working in a business environment in an administrative role
- Highly organised with an exceptional eye for detail
- Experience of working in a fast-paced business environment
- Level 2 English or Maths [or equivalent]
- Excellent interpersonal skills, shown through your ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders
- Able to work accurately and adapt to changing deadlines
- Experience in a cross organisational role
