As an Assessor Deliverer in IT and Computing, you will inspire and support apprentices as they develop the technical skills, confidence and knowledge needed to succeed in the digital sector. You will deliver, assess and quality assure apprenticeship training across Level 3, 4, 5 and 6 programmes, including the Level 6 Digital Technical Solutions Professional Degree Apprenticeship. Working across exciting areas such as Software Development, Networking, Cyber Security and AI, you will deliver engaging learning experiences, work closely with employers and apprentices, and support learners through workplace visits, progress reviews, observations and assessments. You will play an important role in shaping curriculum delivery, maintaining high standards of quality assurance, supporting learner recruitment and induction, and ensuring apprentices receive the guidance they need to achieve their goals. What we're looking for: 

  • A passionate Computing professional who can inspire and develop the next generation of digital talent through high-quality teaching and assessment. 
  • Experience delivering and assessing Computing apprenticeships, including Software Development, Data Analysis, Network Engineer, Information Communications Technician and Digital Technical Solutions Professional standards. 
  • Strong technical knowledge across areas such as Networking, Programming and Cyber Security, with the ability to teach across FE and HE levels. 
  • A relevant degree-level qualification and teaching/assessor qualifications, or a willingness to work towards achieving them. 
  • Confidence using current technologies and digital tools to create engaging, industry-relevant learning experiences. 
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with learners, employers and colleagues. 
  • A commitment to inclusive education, continuous professional development and supporting learner success. 
  • A positive approach to employer engagement, including the ability to travel to workplace sites when required. 

 

What we offer: 

  • Annual Salary: £39,917 to £45,539 depending on skills and experience 
  • Full-time position, 37 hours per week, all year round.
