We're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Level 2 Apprentice Chef to join our Hospitality team in a full-time, fixed-term role for the duration of the apprenticeship. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy commercial kitchen while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
As a Level 2 Apprentice Chef, you'll support the day-to-day operation of our commercial catering outlets, helping to prepare for breakfast and lunch service, maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, and work closely with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. You'll gain valuable experience in stock control, customer service, food preparation, and supporting events, while learning alongside our Commercial Catering Manager, Chef Leads, catering staff, and learners. With dedicated time to complete your apprenticeship studies and ongoing support throughout your programme, you'll develop the skills, confidence, and experience needed to build a successful career in hospitality. What we're looking for:
- Willingness to learn and develop within a professional kitchen.
- Some catering or food preparation experience (school, work, or qualifications) is desirable.
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 3 or above (or willingness to achieve them) and a Level 1 Hospitality qualification (or equivalent) are desirable.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.
- Proactive, reliable, punctual, and able to use initiative.
- Basic IT skills and experience using electronic tills are beneficial.
- Able to work weekdays from 7.00am to 3.00pm.
