What's new to FEjobs in October 2020?
As the UK faces localised lockdowns and restrictions, we’ve made some key upgrades to our schedule online interview functionality to further support colleges during this difficult time. We want to give you the tools you need to advertise for and recruit new staff safely. Find out more about this, and other changes we’ve made, over the last month.
Schedule online interview management, and Zoom and Microsoft Teams integration
You asked for it, and we listened! We’ve expanded the schedule online meeting functionality available to premium customers in the Client Portal to ensure we’re helping you during this challenging time.
A new widget now exists on your Dashboard and against a candidate that you have a scheduled an online interview for, letting you see upcoming and past online interviews. For upcoming interviews, you now have the ability to reschedule or cancel the meeting if needed. When a meeting’s details change, this will prompt a new email to send to update all attendees.
Within your Client Portal, you now have the ability to integrate your Microsoft or Zoom account. Once integrated, you can schedule online interviews via Microsoft Teams or Zoom from the security of your Client Portal with a meeting link automatically generated for you. Your integrated account will be used across the whole account, so we’d recommend using a shared Zoom or Microsoft account.
If you’re a group owner, then you also have the added benefit of being able to share your integrated Microsoft or Zoom account with your member colleges if you so wish. This way you can ensure all your colleges are set up to conduct online interviews and follow your group’s internal processes.

Mixed licence groups
This month, we’ve made some key improvements to Career Sites and Jobs Widgets for groups with mixed licences. Now, all jobs will feature on group Career Sites regardless of whether some of the group’s member colleges are on a different licence type. If your group decides to feature your jobs on the group website via a Jobs Widget, this will also pull through all jobs.
Live chat improvements
For our premium customers, we’ve enhanced the live chat available to you on your Client Portal. Going forward, when you speak to a member of the team via our live chat functionality the system will pre-populate your details, logging all communications directly against your account and leading to smoother account management for your college.
Recruiting pipeline reporting improvements
For our eagle-eyed premium customers, you may have already noticed that we’ve improved the candidate reporting available to you. Now, when you add bespoke stages to your recruiting pipeline, all stages will be fully reported within your Client Portal.
